Welcome to Tranquillity Bed and Breakfast. For a truly tranquil experience by walking around the 22 acres of big trees or sitting with a good book listening to the birds or watching squirrels play. For more active things to do and see , we have a list of things that are nearby.Tranquillity has five theme rooms for you to enjoy a restful night and a great breakfast.
Tranquillity Bed & Breakfast islocated on pine covered acreage with a peek of Twin Lakes down thru the trees. Two plus miles north of Rathdrum Idaho, 15 miles NW Cour d'Alene and 25 miles NE of Spokane Washington. Take Interstate 90 to Hwy 95 in Cour d'Alene, go North to Hwy 53, or, you may take Interstate 90 to Hwy 41 in Post Falls North to Rathdrum and on toward Spirit Lake for 2 miles. Watch for our B&B sign. Take Gunning Rd. to 20551. Our driveway is long. (The B&B is not visable from the road). Arrival at Tranquillity is a feeling of mountain, country living, however the drive is on flat, straight, well maintained highways and road.
We are open year round with snow usually from December thru April. Rates arebased on double occupancy and does not include tax. A 25% deposit is required to hold a room. Deposit is refunded if requested 7 days prior to arrival date. $20.00 for each additional adult in a room, children staying in a room with their parents are free.All rooms are NON-SMOKING. We cannot accomadate pets. Winter rates October thru April. Call Jo for a reservation. (208) 687-1269.

Don, your host is a retired engineer, duplicate bridge player, and down hill skier. Jo, your hostess is an award winning artist and certified caterer/gourmet cook.
At night the stars seem close enough to touch. Sometimes you can see the northern lights.
You can hear sounds of nature and occassionally see wild animals.
